3 year old Pre-K:
must be 3 years old by:

Kindergarten:
must be 5 years old by:
December 31, 2025 December 1, 2025

To apply for Universal Pre-K/Pre-K for All in New York City, visit https://www.myschools.nyc/en/.

To apply for Universal Pre-K outside of New York City, contact the local school district where you reside or your Catholic school of choice for further information.

To apply to multiple schools, please submit a separate Admissions application for each school.

To apply for more than one child, please submit a separate Admissions application for each child.

You will be able to login and see your saved Admissions Application. Please visit https://admissions.catholicschoolsny.org, and login again to your 2024-25 application using your saved email address and password from your first Admissions Application.

School Interview and Required Documents

Your child’s Admission Application is not considered complete until your child has been interviewed and you have submitted all required documents to the school. We do not inquire about the immigration status of any family or child for purposes of applying for admissions or financial assistance.

After you have submitted your online Admissions Application, please call the school to schedule an interview. When you speak with the school to schedule an interview, the school’s staff will inform you what documents are required in addition to those noted below:

  • Birth certificate
  • Report card for grades 1 to 8
  • Standardized test scores for grades 1 to 8, if applicable
  • If applicable, the current Individualized Education Plan (IEP) on file with the Committee for Special Education (CSE) for all grades
  • If applicable, 504 Recommendation for all grades
  • If Catholic, certificates of sacraments

PLEASE NOTE: There will be additional documentation required if you decide to apply for Financial Assistance.
